If you observe a registered sex offender, either knowingly in violation or in a place where they shouldn't be, by all means call the local law enforcement agency.

So what's apparently happening, if I extrapolate the information in this thread thus far:

- After their parole, sex offenders are moving into residences adjacent to schools, etc.

- They're not reporting their new residence to local law enforcement, believing for some reason that law enforcement will not be made aware of it.

- Local law enforcement is finding out the offenders have a new residence that's adjacent to a school, etc., due to some third party source of information such as utility bill records, etc.

- Thereafter, a warrant is issued for their arrest and their location on meganslaw.gov is red flagged.

Do I have all that correct?
