Why is this around the 50th time David Goldstein has caught a whole gaggle of city employees not doing their job? Do any city employees actually do everything they're supposed to be doing during their shifts?

Quote:
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Multiple Los Angeles County Animal Control employees were caught on duty sleeping like a baby or lifting weights in the gym – all while not lifting a finger for taxpayers.

They work in the city.

And pay what price? Taxes? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I pay those...

Anybody else think this salary is excessive ?

Governor of CA makes under $200k last I checked

—-

Goldstein showed the videos to Marcia Mayeda, the head of animal services, who earned more than $378,000 annually in taxpayer-funded salary and benefits.

Yeah, that's insane.

"We may have a supervision issue."

Gee Marcia, ya think?

All goverment workers cant get fired so they don't have to do a darn thing.
If you want to adopt a dog LA County animal services is a good place to look on the internet because there is a half dozen shelters so much greater variety. You can see a picture and brief description of each dog they have.
I adopted a Border Collie ( rare dog at shelters) a couple of months ago from the Baldwin Park LA County shelter and am very happy to get this super dog.
You'll probably have to drive 30 or 40 miles but well worth it to get a dog you want for 12 years or more.

Exactly. Might punish a few in attempt to satisfy the public. Really doubt they’ll do much more. The public officials don’t want to **** off the union.
