We live, like I said before, 75 miles NE of LAX, and it usually takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours to go one way...on May 1st it took 1 hour 15 min!!! The impact made was exactly opposite of what was desired!!

the worst freeway, hands down, is definitely the 405. that baby is ugly, ugly, ugly, no matter when you go. I hated going on it and you couldn't pay me enough to commute on that freeway.

Default Pacific Coast Highway

PCH is one of the longest running highways in California and it needs upgrading. It's functional but the state should spend money sprucing it up and widening the lanes.

From the Westside, Silverlake, and Los Feliz, it will be absolutely horrible at all times during the day except between 10 AM and 2 PM. The East LA interchange is terrifying. I'm not sure exactly how long it will take but the traffic coming from those areas is always bad. Take Google maps estimate and multiply by 2.

From Pasadena, the problem is that there is no freeway connecting you to Commerce. You can take one of the long streets like Fremont, Garfield, Atlantic, or San Gabriel Blvd. all the way to the 10 and take the 10 to the 710. That should take you about 30-40 minutes each way.
