This is sick !

What is going on in this city ? Total lack of civility

—
The incident occurred on Jan. 26 along the 600 block of Spring Street.

Mike Watson, who shared the video on Facebook, wrote that the man was "causing a scene" about the price of hot dogs being sold outside a bar in the area.

Los Angeles Police Detective Meghan Aguilar told the Los Angeles Times that one of the women told the man to take his hot dog and leave because the line was getting longer. He took offense to the comment and punched the woman.

Watson wrote that the man, who he described as weighing more than 200 pounds, threw one of the young women on the ground. Another young woman comes to the defense of the first girl and the man punches the second person in the face, the video shows. Watson wrote that the second young woman is his daughter. It is unclear how old the victims are. It is also unclear who shot the video.

He turned himself in. Lots of men standing around doing nothing while he brutalized two small women.

^Wally George was a gawd damn idiot!

But yes despicable behavior and may justice be served.

That said, the city was a blood bath in the 80's and early 90's. Far calmer today...so please spare us the hysterics guys.

Spare you the hysterics? Do you know what the suspect did?

Yes. We all know. Why are hysterics appropriate?

Tell that to the two young women that got beat up , and the other many victims of crime in this city. I'm sure bringing up 80's and 90's crime stats will comfort them.
Still plenty of crime in L.A and a lot of it goes unreported unless it's a murder of course.

Plus there is the unfortunate issue of LAPD manipulating and "underreporting" the crime stats.

I don't know of any hysterics in this thread. I'm disgusted by what this guy allegedly did -- don't know why your friend used the term 'hysterics'.

Agreed...that was nearly as despicable as the act of violence itself.
