Will depend on your location more than anything else.

Commerce Casino is the largest and has the widest range of games.

There’s also Hollywood Park, The Bike, Hawaiian Gardens, Hustler, and the Lucky Club.

Out of those I would choose Commerce due to the variety and number of games, followed by Hawaiian Gardens for the same reason, but Bike and Hustler are ok too. HP might be ok but I haven’t been there in years.

Hollywood Park? Do they have more than just the track betting?

The Hollywood Park horse racing track closed in 2013 and the casino moved into a new building on Century a couple of years later when the NFL Rams owner started to build the new football stadium on the site. In any case while it was attached to the racetrack in the past poker and other card games where available along with off track betting well into the 1990s

No slot machines,or pure chance versus the house so no tribal attachment is needed.

I and a few others would like to open a casino with full Nevada-style gaming but I fear that the law will prevent us from doing so due to our lack of tribal affiliation. That's a violation of Equal Protection under the law.

You’re very interested for a guy who seemingly has never stepped foot in a Los Angeles County poker room.

But yes, only card games. No slots, no wheels, no craps.

Banked by the players entirely. The house takes a drop at poker and at the other card games.
