At the beginning of January 2020 all over the internet there have been stories talking about the new entertainment portion of westfield topanga to be built.

The one thing not made public yet by urw westfield is what tenants are planned to go into the old sears building.

Anyone know??

My question is why does Westfield need more sit down restuarants at westfield topanga if westfield has the outdoor village across the street??

Does the west valley need another bowling alley like the one planned for Westfield topanga?? There are already 3 bowling alleys near Westfield topanga like Woodlake Bowl, Corbin Bowl and canoga park bowl.

I have heard that the Westfield topanga village is struggling. Is that true??

I never really liked Topanga Village. It supposed to be The Grove of the valley but it's not. Costco is not supposed to be there and the parking kind of sucks. Basically I do not like the design of it. As for bowling alley, supposedly it's very popular so maybe there is a need.

I think the whole layout sucks. I'd much rather shop at the Northridge Fashion Center. Very good, logical layout, and great parking.

I just googled it. Restaurants, movie theatre and bowling alley. This is the "entertainment" portion of the mall. I personally like the Topanga Mall because I have teenagers who drag me there frequently. Compared to the Thousand Oaks mall and the Northridge Mall, Topanga has more stuff teens like. That Village area outside the mall is also fun and has so many options.

Most malls probably have a decline in sales due to online retail. But I think an entertainment portion will help get people out to spend their money.
