On Sunday the Westside received a fly-over consisting of two Chinooks and two Sikorsky's, which looked to me like the same helicopters that picked up a VIP from LAX today. Were the helicopters I saw on Sunday the same ones that were at LAX today, and if so, were they parked at LAX all this time?

Are you sure you identified the helicopters correctly? The US Secret Service might want to know why you want to know.

Well then it wasn't VIP One since the Marines use different equipment. I have never heard of Army Chinooks being used for VIP transport here.

It's duty of every citizen to keep an eye on the government

I would guess that the Chinooks were for ECM, as well as additional chaff and flares. Just a guess from a civy.

I know President Trump lost 2 to 1 in this area but bringing in a Night Stalker special ops Chinook to reinforce the USMC and Secret Service team which has that gear for their mission already seems excessive.
