Sorry if that makes me a sociopath.

Kudos to you for the mountain biking--I don't think I could ever do that! I always give a nod, when I'm running my hills, particularly, to bikers...and give you guys the right of way

I went to a Rite Aid on the Culver City side of the border and had to laugh at the sign they had up stating as ordered by the Mayor of Los Angeles. I guess the County Board of Supervisors now made Culver City's, whose Farmer's Market is still operating, decisions irrelevant.

I went for a short walk today, and I was happy to observe most people were wearing masks. Hopefully, most people are getting a clue about all this, perhaps via social shaming, e.g. getting dirty looks from their neighbors. Good job, my fellow social shamers.

Some of us do not give a crap about social shaming.

I still haven't put a mask on. Those things make you look like a dork.

Wear a bandanna. I do and I look totally gansta. I'm all like, "Yeah dawg, I'm takin' over the mean streets of Brentwood, know what I'm sayin', homie?" And it makes glaring at the unmasked so much more fun.

And all he asked for in return was a smile. Good luck on finding people like that around here these days; indeed, this place has changed...
Do you mean in the LA area, or just in general?

Without going into too much detail, I have been amazed during this pandemic at the kind helpfulness of individuals who work at local stores here in the SF Bay Area (local ACE hardware store employees and one shift manager at a favorite grocery store) who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, to help us with some shopping needs as we shelter in place at home.

I found a Darth Vader Plastic mask in my closet when I was spring cleaning this weekend.
It talks also which helps alert other people that I am around them. I had to modify it, there are air vents so I covered them all with duct tape, and I also wear a cloth mask underneath the Darth Vader Mask for extra protection.

This is gonna suck during summertime.

And NONE of the people I see jogging, which is now another favorite L.A. pastime, are covering their face either. WTF? I see so many joggers now that it looks like the L.A. Marathon is passing by my house. Some of you people are so unbelievably agitating.

"Oooh, look at me, I'm so naughty because I'm walking or jogging without a mask on. Ah-hur-hur-hur."

Good grief. Cretins.
Is this what passes for civility these days? I sincerely hope that this is hyperbole, or comic relief
