Even if that’s true, do you really think real estate is dropping in California? LOL

I think you’re messing with us. Surely you know even dumpy houses in South Central are jumping to near a million.

Hate to break it to you, but when you get tech companies and you draw college graduates from MIT and other big tech schools, they don’t tend to vote like cattle ranchers. California didn’t just become the way it was out of nowhere. Don’t scapegoat an entire state of 40 million when it comes down more to industry.

I think people don’t desire to live in these liberal cities after what we’ve seen from them this year. It may not be today but once demand goes down, uh yeah house prices will drop.

It’s not just Los Angeles.

Nice jab. And not true. Once people start making money and seeing how much the government takes they’re not so quick to vote for dems and socialists.

My South OC house value is at an all-time high. Some people may be leaving SoCal but that gives others a chance to finally buy a house, and they are jumping on it. We're a long, long way from a time when California is littered with vacancies because "everybody left."

True, many who are rich, both native and foreign and investors will buy and buy and buy.

Well, yeah, that’s how the real estate market works, isn’t it? But that’s not the case right now. Trying to come on here to brag about your rising home value when houses here today are getting dozens of offers and are selling for well over asking is kind of silly. Believe me, if you’re trying to impress California homeowners by gloating about Tennessee home values, might not get the reaction you’re hoping for.

The Bay Area and NYC don’t pay high salaries?

Why exactly are you in the LA forum?

If you’re a homeowner in California, good. But I hate to break this to you—many, many people are fed up and leaving in droves. May I ask you this? Can a middle class person afford a house in Los Angeles? That’s why they are leaving. That’s why we left years earlier than planned. My husband had a very healthy 6 figure income, still a joke to try to find a house anywhere desirable.

I don’t care about stranger California homeowners but yes expect a drop. “Moving to California” isn’t really a thing anymore. The people in charge have absolutely ruined your state. We had fun but couldn’t stand it, the middle class doesn’t have a chance out there.

Not trying to impress anyone. But yes I like living where BLM doesn’t burn down the city and the relaxed gun laws. Lots of other Americans like that, too. People are leaving all these liberal areas (not just CA) fast.
