The things you named are called "doing" nice things or "going" to nice places. The things I "have" are my car and my belongings.
The people in those pics are probably fed up with being lied too. 2 weeks became 2 months going on 3.
Those folks are fine. If they get sick, 98% of them will survive unless they were jacked up to begin with. And if you were in bad shape, and you went out there anyway, that's your own roll of the dice.

Out here in the Antelope Valley, people who came out to view the poppies over the past two months have left a bunch of roadside trash (wrappers, plastic bags, gloves, masks and various debris) all alongside the roads going to and from the California Poppy Reserve.

It's a shame.

When I was up in the Kern River Valley this past weekend, I saw the same thing...trash piled high and overflowing from the bins, plastic lunch bags, napkins, plastic cups on the river bank.

What happened to the idea of leaving a place nicer than you found it? Or, pack it up and pack it in?

It is an expression to make a point. I thought it was well made.

You mean like wearing seat belts in a car or helmets on motorcycles are your roll of the die?

I refuse to put on a mask and social distance. Yes it is my way of giving the government and all of the experts the middle finger.

Didn't you say that you're a realtor? How do you meet with clients?
