This is happening in cities across the state and nation.

Thus far this looks like child's play compared to '65 and '92 (34 and 63 deaths). Of course, this isn't over yet. And I am not excusing any of the looting or violence.

My corner of LA proper is quiet tonight. So it ain't all a [expletive deleted].

Default Looting in Beverly Hills

Wow, I am shocked this made its way all the way to Beverly Hills. Who's even organizing these things?
I mean they're destroying police cars and the whole nine yards and getting away with it. That Alexander Mcqueen store got hit hard buy a bunch people with useless parents. Beverly Hills PD sadly looked over matched.

In 2 years this same group will cry about how nobody wants to open businesses in their neighborhood.

I Honestly, I think part of it is frustration of sheltering in place going from 2 weeks to 2 months.People were just looking for an excuse. People on the boards have said a return of 92 was coming and here it is.
And Minneapolis just looks like "Apocalypse Now". Hope LA County officials put the shut down on this soon this soon.

In 1992, the number was around 10,000 National Guard called into LA County. Based on what I have seen reported tonight: we are looking at about 1,500 coming into LA County. We'll see if that is enough.

My sister and I were talking about LA this evening. She told me about the violent protests on the West side. I told her "I bet they won't try that in Koreatown...".

It was already a disaster in DTLA Thursday night. Mostly Antifa and based on that the LAPD ought to have been dispersing the crowds. They didn’t and this is the [mod cut] we wind up with.

This is who’s organizing it:

Basically anyone you see on the local news wearing all black or otherwise clothed in mostly black.

Looting in Beverly Hills and even in the Fairfax District seems unreal to me although that is what happened according to the news/media.
