I'm having trouble remembering where it was. Was it somewhere near Pico and Sepulveda?

Yes, it was, between Sepulveda and the 405 on Pico.

Thank you. Anybody remember when the neighboring Best Buy opened? I didn't shop there often at the time, since the area still had a Comp USA. Was it around '95-ish?

Wow. Adrays. Thats a name I havent heard of in a long time. I remember there was one on Van Nuys blvd. in Van Nuys and one on Wilshire in Miracle Mile area.

Those were pretty bad stores back then. But I guess there was little competition back then and their prices were cheaper than larger stores.

The one in West L.A. wasn't bad. That was the place to go for electronics, unless you were willing to drive out to FEDCO or GEMCO.

Also LA Tronics.

Adrays had many valley locations too. Besides van nuys adrays had a location in Encino and Canoga Park.

Adrays and LA tronics was before circuit city even existed.

Also remember Federated? I never went to one, but I remember those commercials.

Before Adray's was on Van Nuys Blvd proper, they were kind of on the corner of Victory and VN Blvd...south of Victory, east of Van Nuys.

This was 1969/1970 that I first went there.
It was more of a small appliance store, wherein I bought my first stereo.

I bought my Whirlpool washer and drier at the Valley store about 30 years ago. They still run great.
