Hi guys.

Dear people I need your help or advise.

The problem is the following... I'm not US citizen, but about 10 years I was employeed for US State Department as a Financial Specialist. Some time ago (becouse of some family issues) I leaved my country for USA. I have official working visa and work permition.

So... (now about the problem ) During about a month I sent my CV to the different employers... and didn't receive any answer.

Maybe I should'n mention about US State Department? Maybe job experiance with US Government isn't voluable?

Thank you in advance.

So I'm thinking you mean "valuable" when you say "Voluable?" In which case you having the US state department job on your CV (which by the way is a resume im hoping/assuming lol) is totally worthy of being on it. Maybe you should check on the employers where you sent them. See if they had a chance to review your CV, ask what they were looking for right now. If anything at all. Sometimes you can't wait around for them to call you. I wouldn't say annoy them though either remember. Anyways, having a government job I would say might even be a plus, definitely doesn't hurt. Especially if you were there for 10 years. Good luck on the job hunt!

ps-your english was a little rusty, but great nonetheless. Better then I am with any other language! So hopefully I got the correct idea of the matter. Sorry....if um...I didnt lol
