There are good people here, but good luck finding them as most are selfish children out for them selves.
Yes. Some people. Maybe a lot. Just like a lot of people in NYC and anywhere else. And just like in NYC or anywhere else, there are a lot of people who don't want you to "do something" for them.

This viewpoint shows somebody who either doesn't know much about L.A. as a whole, or is deliberately trying to dislike it. Ask me how I know. (ducking head in shame)

I Live in LA, alot of people are really nice, but in LA in the nice areas like Bev Hills, and Century City girls will only like you if you match their requirments if your rich adn Hot. LA women are actually smart not dumb what most people say. But their are some Valley-girls cruising the streets of LA.

(deep breath) Okay. Again. But then, your requirements apparently are that they're "hot". Why is one fair and one unfair? (ETA:Not "yours" specifically, LA...you may just be describing; these may not be your requirements--but the theme here is "getting hot girls" so that's very obviously "the" prerequisite here for quite a few guys.)

And why don't people grasp that if they have shallow motives, they'll attract shallow potential dates, who will judge them just as unfairly, unrealistically and callously as they themselves are judging?

This is simple stuff, people.

Latino would probably be acceptable with them, black or Asian definitely not.

Many of the "white bastion" beach towns (specifically Palisades, Santa Monica, Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo) do still have a certain lingering racism.

California is the bastion of racial tolerance, diversity and acceptance of ALL races, because, hey, that's what alot of California's have been saying (snicker), so you clearly do not know what you're talking about and are being very offensive with your observations

I'm mean, it's quite clear that Californian women are non-judgemental and date all races of men equally with no stereotyping on their part......

<sarcasm!>
