Plot twist:

The latest Covid variant will have come from one of those U.S. funded biolabs in Ukraine.

I don't live in an HOA, and my older neighborhood has nearly no children on the block, but if your neighborhood has an HOA which prohibits driveway/street hoops and/or residential ball games are prohibited, would you still have reason to sigh?

Months after Los Angeles rolled out requirements for city workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the city said that as of last week, it had terminated 24 employees for violating those rules.

The terminated employees include a dozen workers at the Los Angeles Fire Department, as well as smaller numbers of employees in the city attorney’s office, the Los Angeles Police Department, the parks department and Los Angeles World Airports, according to the city Personnel Department.

That's wierd since the vaccines have all worn off and all...nobody's more dangerous and nobodies more protected than the next guy.

Almost seems like it was always about CONTROL and not public health...

The vaccines haven't worn off. Most people still have some antibodies, and the T-cell aspect is expected to last months more.

No, they haven't. It's a small percentage that has. My guess is the percentage might be especially low among LAPD, where many employees didn't complete the bare minimum until fall.

Those employees were going to continue to be unreasonable. Longer safety record and better vaccine available someday unlikely to make a difference. Employees whose basic common sense is lacking are expendable.
