Whats the difference between the LA Colosem and the So Fi Stadum?
Isen't it the same size track as a high school atletic field track, seems so small no passing.

We're watching the qualifying now. This will be interesting, when everybody starts racing together on a quarter mile track.

I've been watching -- caution right now.

This is some great racing action! NASCAR really did their homework. These next gen cars are all loose in, tight off, which is exactly where they need to be for this track and we're seeing very few cautions. I'd much rather watch this than the Clash at a plate track with everybody simply freight training.

This tight course looks like a tandem drift race, which should appeal to the younger drifters out there…

But seriously, I wish they would have done a street course rather than a short track.

I agree Exitus. We did watch a little of this on TV. It appeared most fans had a great time even when Ice Cube came out to perform. We are Nascar fans but watch via Television. :-)

I watched from a little before noon until 5 PM. It was interesting how they augmented it with the "halftime" show with Ice-Cube, and before that, there were performances between and after the qualifier races. And apparently a DJ played music during cautions. In other words, they gave it a distinctive L.A. feel, which I think was a smart idea for this venue and the whole thing was a success. And hopefully we'll see more short track races given how well this one went with this next gen car.

Ice Cube advertizes all the time for Car Shield. Car Shield is a total ripoff you ain't getting one penny out of Car shield and it's expensive. Ice Cube is leading poor people to the slaughter.
