Thanks for that video. Quite amazing and sad how much the Los Angeles area has deteriorated and changed. Who would have guessed the utter destruction and filth of that city.

You can tell this was many decades old because pedestrians were crossing the street without some driver trying to mow them down.

Look how thin they were as well. They had better food than the garbage we have now and did not sit every where using electronics.

I was born in LAC and have lived in several cities in the County over the years and I have seen the massive decline, or I should say, increase in ... obesity.

I'm afraid it wasn't the food, though. Maybe you weren't brought up with meat for dinner four times a week, casseroles, Swanson's TV dinners, Twinkies.... I agree that it was probably the lack of electronics.

Well we want out to eat one day a week to a restaurant, Saturday. Other than that my mother cooked every meal and they were great.

The food was fresh and not GMO or heavily fertilized and sprayed with Chemicals and modified with chemicals and other "fillers" like the junk today is.

So beautiful and peaceful. It's too bad big government ruined it.

Nice old video. But Im glad Im around in Los Angeles today than back in those days. Life is so much better now. Things along Wilshire in that area have really blossomed compared to those old days.

LA has always been great. Going to remain great.

It's not a political statement. I have no political side or team. It's just a statement of fact. Government policies have destroyed the state.
