Some football team is going to recruit the cop who took her down. Beautiful flying body tackle. Can't wait for the excessive force lawsuit.

Just happy the LAPD did not chase more to their deaths this time (bystanders included).

I'm aware of two car chases in the last few days, neither of them described in this topic.

IIRC one ended in Fontana (?) with three fatalities. This was first reported last night IIRC, with a 14 year old driver, younger passenger in front, and a 6 (?) year passenger in the back seat. The driver and front seat passenger were ejected in a one car crash, and killed on impact. The back seat driver died at the hospital.

The other ended in Sylmar at San Fernando Road and Polk, with a traffic accident, and the perp captured after a short foot chase. Nothing was said about any injuries for the innocent driver involved in the accident, but the accident didn't look too bad.

One lesson that can be learned: buckle your seat belt. It's the law!

Also GTA is not real life.

I have to admit that I enjoyed watching these chases on TV even though the criminal always gets caught. That girl drove like an expert & knew how to rock the truck back & forth to get more gas.

I think people watch car chases on TV for the same reason that some people watch NASCAR, that is hoping they will see an accident.
