This is actually very cool. They say trains could start running early in 2025. Just wish they would extend all the way to Santa Monica. Not that people would actually use it with LA's "car culture", but hopefully, things will change in the future.

The 720 bus that runs on Wilshire Blvd is often full.

But underground subways are notoriously dangerous and dirty in LA. It's safer to use buses.

Not true mr. negative nanny. This is actually a very very good thing for LA.

I'm not negative, I used other subway systems and can compare.

* It's very difficult to pass without paying through fare gates in Washington. Trains are clean.

* It's very difficult to ride without paying on San Diego trolleys. Armed bouncer-type security will ask to show fare cards. Trolleys are clean.

In LA, Defund the Police replaced armed policemen with ambassadors. One of these ambassadors was assaulted recently. She had no gun, of course.
