Last I checked, year ago, they have cleaned up most, not all, of the gang problems in the Jungle. Nothing at all like it used to be. Immigrants have largely taken over.

I was down there not long ago, and it was still Blood territory. Probably not as blatantly violent, and it was still a no-go.

What type of immigrants did you see? I saw mainly Black Americans, with some Carib./African Blacks with a small pocket of Hispanics.

That's odd, you may have been over in the pocket that is still mostly african american.. The balance has gone mexican for what I could tell, and that is based on several trips there about a year ago.

My godsister was killed in her car with her two babies (3 and 4) in the car with her. No one knows how long they stayed in the car with her body because no one knows how long it was before police were called but we do know it took the police half an hour to show up. btw, the boys had their mother's blood and brains all over them when they were found.

The Jungle sure has gotten cleaned up over the years.
