I just moved here recently. I like to fish in lakes. It is hard to find online where I can go fishing in LA area. Anyone has any suggestions? thanks

If you live in Los Angeles and want to go fishing you will have to drive a ways to get their. but their are places to fish. pyramid lake and Castake Dam about 50 miles from LA.. Have a look on a map for lakes in the area.

Here is a link to all the fishing locations in the County of Los Angeles. Similarly, you can check the link for surrounding counties to broaden the scope of your search.

Los Angeles County, California Fishing Lakes | Fishing Works

Good luck and make sure you get a license - penalties cost more than the license, believe me!
