I will be moving to CA, specificially to go to grad school at Cal Poly Pomona. I have seached "pomona" and looked through some threads. I currently don't have housing yet as I am on a waiting list. I was wondering if there was a good place to look into housing if I don't get on-campus. Also what are the prices like there? Gas, housing, ect..... I wouldn't mind just renting out a room. Any information about Pomona would be appreciated. Thanx.

Hello Fellow Bronco! Try http://losangeles.craiglist.org. Also West Covina and Walnut are VERY close to Cal Poly. WARNING: Downtown Pomona or Pomona proper is not where you want to live. Also, the housing office has a board where people renting rooms are posted.

Good suggestions. Also try the Covina area, north of the 10 freeway and west of the 210 fwy. Good luck!
