for those who rents or owns house/apartments are there places for rent 2bedrooms/1 bathroom for the price of 1,200 dollars in a good area(SAFE). one of my relative is looking for a place in those area in that price range. I know el segundo is out of reach(expensive area). i been on craiglist and all the area i seen on google street view seems a bit run-down and unsafe.

Wouldn't we all like a 2 bedroom in a safe area of a beach city for $1200?

Might be doable in Torrance. You might also check Westchester (90045). Again, the further west you go, the more expensive and safer the area. But, stay west of Sepulveda Blvd., regardless. Now is probably a good time since Loyola is on summer break. But the students will begin looking for apartments again, within the next couple weeks.

a buddy of mine and I used to rent a 2br in Playa Del Rey for $1350. I doubt you'll find that price again, but there are deals to be had, you'll just have to do some serius searching.

I live in Lomita which is right next door to Torrance, off PCH, it's a very nice area with a middle school right down the road and I pay $1125 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath, pool, parking. Killer deal. I'm sure there are plenty of places like it though.
