What are the best Chinese restaurants in San Gabriel valley?

Different types, Shanghainese, Szechuan, Beijing style, Malaysian food, etc? Which resyaurant has the best dim sum and are there any places that sell dim sum all the time (not only on the weekends)?

Are there any good Malaysian restaurants out there?

Thanks.

That foucs plaza and surrounding plazas, especially the plaza west of it has two very good restaurant, there is a Shanghai Restaurant which I recommed. It has excellent food.

One thing about the price,it's much cheaper eating in the SGV then the West Side. Food is more important then ambiance.

There is one dim sum restaurant Top Island in Alhambra on Valley Blvd,It's in an old shopping strip mall
It's near Chapel Ave. Prices are cheaper but it's excellent. At night they have 4 dishes and the 5th is free. something like that
Actually there are many restaurants that has the 4th or 5th free.

There many buffet restaurants,This one is in Alhambra on Commonwealth Ave. Right on the Costco Shopping center on the street side
Golden Coast Buffet has many isles, Japanese and Chinese and lots of sushi. The price is very reasonable. I go often. It is also well known.

Another one is the

Zen Buffet is in San Gabriel on Las Tunas and Broadway. It's pretty good too

If you are on the 10 go west, get off at Del Mar Ave. Go towards North, you will see on the left before you reach valley, get into that entrance. If you miss it,just turn left on Valley, then turn left on the corner, can't remember the street, but you won't miss it.

The Hilton is right across the street, there are more plazas on the four corners,It's pretty busy, you will have a lot of choices. Good luck! and have fun!

Oh! The 99 Ranch Market is there,it's one of the largest. good stuff!

I miss MP. Had to move to ugly TX. I used to pass the Hilton all the time! SGV is the best.
