Hello,

I'm moving to LA with my girlfriend and her two children - grades 2nd and 5th. I would like to live in the West Hollywood/Miracle Mile area or Culver City. Is there a good public elementary school? How is Hancock Park elementary?

Also, is there open enrollment? waiting lists?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Jess

One of the Hancock Park elementary schools is a 10 out of 10, check here to find out which one:

West Hollywood has good schools. I'm not familiar with Culver City's schools, check them out on the link above.

The fifth grader will soon be in middle school, and that's where it gets tough to find a good school. Check greatschools.net. Burroughs is supposed to be okay as is Culver City Middle. Getting into a magnet would be tough at this point.
