haha, yeah if I say where I'm from I usually do it with some disdain, "Oh, I'm from Oregon *rolls eyes*" There's a reason most of us are in Los Angeles and it's because wherever we are from wasn't that great in our opinions. Maybe it would be for other people.

Being from New York is nothing to be proud of if you're in Los Angeles. It's one thing if you went to some small podunk town and said you're from New York City, then maybe a few locals will be like, "WOW, that must be crazy, all of those people and cars!" But come on this is Los Angeles.

If someone loves where they are from there is nothing wrong with being proud of it and sharing your pride with other's. It's another thing to "boast" as if where you are from is far superior and that goes for people from Ca. acting like they are better when visiting other states or putting down people from areas that have pride in where they are from.

I just watched the USC Arizona game and I have to say that the Cheerleaders for USC were a lot hotter than the Arizona Cheerleaders.

Another thing, at the fitness center that I frequent there is this lady that has been going to the place for the past five or six years. I never talked to her much, but then I am married to a beautifull lady so I am covered in that area of my life. A friend though finally spoke to her and the girl wouldn't shut up. Seems that most people missed the chance to make a friend with this girl because of how hot she looked. Imagine that? This girl was kind of lonely living in the area and because of preconcieved notions, no one was befriending her. Meaning that she is hot, she must have someone in her life. Now that she is part of our group one of the single guys has since asked her out and they seem to be doing very well now.

This is true anywhere. Nice guys seem to be intimidated by beautiful, confident women so the cocky jerks are usually the ones to approach them or guys that are just clueless about how far out of their league they are. Once in awhile a guy of substance will part the waters and say hello. Again, this particular topic is universal.

No they don't. Well I dont. Well I don't exactly qualify myself as a 'texan' even though I have been here for about 2 years. I am all floridian still. But if someone asked me where I was from, I would simply say Texas. I wouldn't bob my head yes and be all high-class and bougey about it. I couldn't imagine what kind of people on earth would do that. If they did I would be laughing my head off!

I'm not sure about LA.

Firstly, I live here and go ALL OVER the city and can vouch that the bulk of our women are less-than desirable Indians from Latin America (I'm not joking!). It's sooooo overrated as a whole. A good amount of people come here looking for palm tree-studded streets with conspicuous models sipping ridiculously overpriced lattes. What they see is overweight Michoacans and Jalsciense living in decaying, gang-infested,garbage-strewn neighborhoods with parked on the front lawn. Deceit at it's finest.

(p.s: nothing wrong with michoacans and jaliscience-it's just not what pops into some folks' heads when thinking of LA women)

When I visited all my cousins friends were surprised that I was from New York I don't have the accent but I can fake it. Everyone thought I was from Northern California cause they had a stereotypical view of New York they asked how can I live in such a crazy place.

It's true, LA girls are hotter than NYC girls. I lived in NYC for 2 years and I can vouch for this. I think the warmer weather (tighter, revealing clothes) and the beaches attract hotter girls, the entertainment industry, and the laidback attitude give them an advantage.

Now that I live in SD, I would say LA girls are still hotter than SD too.
