My friend just called to tell me that there is a huge Prop 8 protest march going on in front of the EL Coyote on Beverly Bl. Apparently, the mormon owner donated $$ to the FOR 8 side despite the fact that at least 1/2 of her customers are gay

yet if someone boycotted an establishment for donating against it they'd be labeled as bigots

Thank's for telling me that. I will have to stop in for lunch sometime. Sure think that it is amazing that some people don't understand the political process and when a majority of the people choose something they get bent out of shape over it.

If they want to play that game, maybe the straight world should boycott all of West Hollywood and the entertainment industry.

Actually, religious organizations do this type of boycotting all the time.

Remember how certain stores were being boycotted for carrying certain CD's a few years ago...

Well, you can do that but it really wouldn't affect gay people specifically....

You need to swing your pencil on over brentwood, palisades & notebly malibu beachfront... dem's the ones who will feel an entertainment boycott kind of hurt... Wouldn't that be a kicker.

Thank's for the warning. I hate bad food. Guess I am a hater. I was going to say that just because someone votes a certain way doesn't make them a hater. I don't hate people of any walk of life. They can do what ever they choose to do as long as I can do the same. I believe that Marriage is between a man and a woman. Someone else is free to believe another way. Before you chimed in I thought I wasn't a hater. But then I do hate bad food so I guess I am one after all.

1/2 of her customers are not gay.
But, the food does suck. No self respecting gay person would eat such bad food.

LOL. I don't know the exact percentage of who is gay or not. what I do know is that when you go on certain nights (usually wed or thurs), the atmosphere is VERY flamboyant. I used to go there frequently when I lived there on those nights. It freaks my friends and us out that we were supporting that hater all along, nasty food and all. there were certain things that you could order that were mediocre at best. most of the menu truly sucked.
