Hello,

I'm a newbie here and I'm very appreciated for your help in this forum. I'm planning to buy a condo in Long Beach (near the beach) but I have no idea which part is good or which part is bad.

One condo that I'm looking at is on 2ND Street between Falcon Ave and Gaviota Ave.

The other condo that I'm looking at is on OCEAN Blvd between Hermosa Ave and Cherry Ave.

I don't know which part is better for those 2 areas. Do you mind helping me by giving some info about Long Beach neighborhoods?

Thank you so much.

MrVo

Depends on what you mean by better. Street parking is worse on ocean blvd. the neighborhood feel is the same. I was apartment hunting in the area and drove by at night and felt safe. If I had to choose between the two (i live and work in Long beach) though, I would choose the place on ocean despite the parking problem. I think my car would be safer along the main road, then the dark roads of Long Beach.

They're both good places, but listen to the above posters regarding the parking. Does parking come with your condo?

IDK if you already looked, but try places in the 90803 (Belmont Shores) area. I personally like that area better.
