Hi. I am a traveling healthcare professional so I move every 3 months and need to make sure my car is reliable. I recently moved from Irvine to Long beach ( I work in Harbor city) and need a good, no nonsense car mechanic. I have a 2007 nissan altima, so I really need a mechanic who will tell me what is absolutely necessary for safety and not try and scare me into paying for services that I really don't NEED. I really just want to know that my car is safe to drive to my next assignment. Thanks for you help, it is greatly appreciated!!

for that type of work, i would suggest john's mobile on wardlow and norwalk/los alamitos blvd. just outside east long beach, charges good rates, and doesnt jerk you around. my maxima saw nearly all of its service done there in its 300k mile lifespan in my family and ive taken every other car i have there as well for maintenance and repairs

he'll be fair, he'll tell you what you need, and let you go on your way. been a customer for over 20 years and im very happy with it

take it to the nissan dealer? I would never have a new car i paid for be handled by an independant shop unless i knew them extremely well. be careful.

Oops. I meant that I have a 1997 Nissan Altima. Big difference than a 2007. Sorry for that typo. Thanks for all your help!
