Got a 78 in North Hollywood..."Very Walkable", which sounds about right according to my feet =D

It's not a very attractive place to walk, mind you, but just about every major amenity is within walking distance, as is plenty of entertainment. Plus, I'm only a few blocks from the Metro station, which means I'm minutes from Hollywood, downtown L.A., or even the ballpark...all without driving.

This city doesn't look as cool as NY, Chicago or San Francisco, but it is certainly walkable.

My address got a 38. Yes, I'm car dependent! Everything is at least half a mile away.

I've been playing with this walkability website again tonight, and it is spot-on. Ive put in every address I could think of, in various places around the country and around LA, and it's amazingly accurate. Whoever put it together did a very good thing!

My address received a 92 and is described as a "walkers paradise." I live near Robertson and Beverly Blvds so I'm pretty much in the middle of LA's shopping and paparazzi mecca.
