I tried to make an appointment at UCLA but they charge 1200 dollars for a consultation and to put the camera down your throat. That price seems crazy to me. I guess the docs there are the best, but xthe prices are crazy. Anyone know of a good ENT doc elsewhere?

My ENT is Dr. Thomas Grosch. He has offices in Glendale, La Canada, and Mission Hills. He's really great. He did an excellent job on my thyroid removal surgery. I don't know what his charges would be without insurance. I definitely recommend him though, to anyone.

Why do you keep starting new threads?...why not use your old thread about the ENT.

Anyone know a good Ear nose and throat doctor in LA ?

by the way:

Where is a good place to get an STD test done in LA?

$1200 may be too much or not; depends on what your problem is. I dont know why a normal initial consult would cost more than a few hundred dollars, if that much.
I went to the ENT who was in charge of ENT surgery(at the time) for Cedars Sinai. That consult only cost me about $150.

They said it was so much because of the price of the camera they put down your throat to look down there. Apparently it keeps breaking so they have to cover themselves by charging so much. Other places use the camera though and dont charge so much, maybe UCLA has better cameras!

I didn't have a camera put down my throat on my consult.
