Yesterday I was on my way to college, taking the freeway to get there quickly. But it turns out to be a traffic jam in my path. So I got off the freeway and took the streets of South LA to get to college. The traffic was even worse! I had to miss one day of class.

Friday in the PM is the worst in my observations. In addition to commuters, you have those on the road because they are either leaving 'town' for the weekend or incoming for party time.

Agree that Friday evening is the worse because people are going places for the weekend. It has taken me 4 hours on Fridays to drive to Palm Springs and also San Diego [both are around 100 miles from Los Angeles
