The largest Russian population on the west coast is in LA, so which cities in the metro area have the largest communities of Russians?

" The nexus of arrogance "

West Hollywood/Hollywood. Think Santa Monica Blvd between Fairfax (and up/down Fairfax from 3rd to Sunset) and La Brea. Lots of Armenians too, along Hollywood and Santa Monica Blvd's between Vine and Western, though they are mixed in with Salvadorans and Mexicans.

If you happen to be a foreigner, I'd steer clear...they are notorious for being and viewing non-Russians with contempt. And before you pull the race/pc card out, do a simple search on the forum

I'd actually vouch that the Armenian community goes a few streets past Normandie, maybe even into Los Feliz a bit (I've heard Armenians are there, but haven't seen it for myself).

I remember having an altercation with the security guard for the Armenian Day School on Alexandria between Hollywood and Sunset, so that is definitely Armenian turf.

LOL! Well, I see their shops, and believe it or not, from time to time I see them.

The neighborhood is very, very polyglot, though. It could just as well be Little El Salvador, Little Guatemala, etc. And the neighborhood pretty much engulfs "Thai Town" nowadays..

prettyugly.: Thai Town visit

The eastern parts of West Hollywood are very Russian. Visit the Jon's grocery store at Fountain and La Brea if you want any Russian food or drink.

Well I live in Northridge, and a lot of the tenants in my apartment are Russian. They're actually my biggest problem tenants. My Russian tenants would fall into two categories.
1. Great people would go out of the way to help you out. About 70% of the Russians in my building are like this.
2. Scum of the Earth who thinks the world owes them a living. Wake up every morning with the purpose of scamming the government. 30% of them in my building are unfortunately like this.

Best tenants I've had are Latinos. Pay their rent on time and don't complain about anything. Sorry, just had to vent there for a second.
