What are some of the nice high-rise apartments and condos around the LA area? I searched around online but only found some that are in downtown and they are outrageously expensive compared to high rises in other expensive cities. Any info is great, thanks.

High rises in L.A. tend to be pretty expensive. Just look at the expensive high rise condos and apartments along the Wilshire Corridor! You will think downtown is pocket change after seeing how much the towers along Wilshire cost.

What do you consider expensive?

There is a nice high-rise complex in Marina Del Rey but I believe they are easily over a million. If they have any left they may be going for a bit cheaper now but I doubt by much. I would think the majority of them would be downtown but I would imagine there are a bunch along Wilshire between the Westside and downtown.

Yeah I guess having a high rise is a premium in LA. I was looking for something around 500k area. Or a $2000 rent or so.

You can find plenty of units in high-rises in Downtown LA for under $500k to buy or $2,000 for rent.

Call a real estate agent with business in downtown. Or look up on the LA area mls.com for guests.
