Every year The Japanese Community of Monterey Park has this festivity.

I took some pictures and videos,I will upload the videos later.

I was there for 3 hours,saw some shows,they are spectacular.

There is also a hall with some exhibits













This was in the hall exhibit. This guy was teaching how to make sushi





This guy is a friend of mine,he started dragon dancing about 40 years ago in Monterey Park

This lady is famous but I forgot to take her name down

There is a Hawaiin Dance School in Monterey Park,which I didn't know about.

Thanks for the great photos. Where are the cherry blossoms though? Are there cherry trees in LA? Are our winters too warm for cherry trees to produce?

There are a few trees around the park,not many.But go to the Japanese Garden in Burbank,they are in full bloom! I have friends that were out there!

Also go to the Little Tokyo area in downtown L.A. I am sure the Japanese out there will tell you more
