Absolutely! As long as you've taken the photos yourself, they're welcome here ...

roosevelt ~ I would love to see your vintage pictures, especially is they are from around 1961 as your others. I should go thru my dads photo's, he may have some good ones from that time, I am afraid the quality may not be so good. Even tho he had a 35 mm - may were very small when printed.

Was in LA on a business trip last week. Went up to Griffith Observatory one evening and captured these:

WOW! Thank you for these! You made my neighborhood look so good! I really do like living in Long Beach, and being able to afford an apt. that catches some ocean breezes, but I do feel a little isolated from the rest of L.A. That would be my only complaint about living down here. We go to Burbank, West Hollywood, Malibu and the Valley a lot, and it is such a loooooooong drive. Great pics- the B&B is absolutely adorable!

So, is Long Beach to LA what Oakland is to San Francisco? Underappreciated, overlooked gem? According to the owners of the B&B I stayed at, it is. And I have to agree. Too bad I didn't get to see as much as I'd like between shuttling my sister and mom between UCLA campus tours and Disneyland. Anyway, I give you Long Beach, California's fifth largest city!

This city is too good to see.we can enjoy alot in our country.
