What is the best way to get to the Kodak Theater? I am not familiar with the LA area at all. The google maps is telling me to get off the I-15 at the 10 and go to the 101 is that going to be okay? Do you have any suggestions for a better route?
Thank you for any help!

That's a good way, especially since you don't know the area and presumably want the easiest, most streamlined option. Just prepare for bad traffic and expensive parking once you get there.

Where are you coming from, exactly? And what time of day?

Google maps usually gives good directions - if it isn't a horrible time of day, you should be fine taking the 10 to the the 101; that sounds very appropriate. Check sigalert.com for traffic conditions.

You know how Google maps has a time estimate for how long it will take? BELIEVE it. And add a little depending on time of day, because parking can be a bite too.

Ah yes traffic, definitely not excited for that. I will be coming from the Vegas area tomorrow morning leaving there about 8 am. Thanks for the help!

I think general parking at the Kodak is only about $10. Not too bad. Depending on your purpose, you might get validation too. You know, I don't think traffic will be horrible, but of course that depends on your definition of horrible. If you wish to avoid it entirely, I suppose you could park at Union station downtown, at the same rate, and take the Red Line to Hollywood.
