No, raicsm is not on the rise. Nothing new, when something happens you'll get the good posters along with the ignorant ones. I've seen just as much racist talk among many groups, not just whites. Not necessarily just on forumsbut in contact with people in the community. None the less racism runs along all races and ethnicities.

Funny how other ethnicities have to be dragged down along with the white racists when its not us (Minorities) who have active organisation for white supremacy and before you start dragging black panthers along, they only exist because white supremacist do.

Can i ask that when someone says "Not only whites" do you mean to say that only they have that right and monopoly in being racists?? No other ethnic minority has that right?? Surely if its ok to have white racists we the Minorities can have a chunk of the pie. Live and let live i say.

Just a reminder that the topic is whether racism is on the rise in Los Angeles. While a discussion of racism in general is important, it's misplaced on this forum. For anything other than Racism in Los Angeles, please take the discussion to either the Great Debates or the Politics & Other Controversies forum.

Thanks.

I'd say it's on the rise. I've been getting a lot of looks lately that seem to say something like, "This ain't your country no more, Pilgrim." Makes my plan of strategic retreat to Idaho or Montana seem better by the day.

Racism is alive and well. You have blacks who don't like whites or Latinos. You have Latinos who don't like whites. Asians who don't like blacks or Latinos but love whites. You have middle easterners who hate everybody but themselves.

And who think they own the whole city just because they came here with a little more money than most people.
