East 2nd st. and Gaviota???? give or take a few blocks east and west.... Is this a nice area??? a few blocks from Bixby Park??? the park didnt seem so nice... If I street park my car, should i be worried? Safe to walk at night? We found a great place for a great price around here. Depending on what u guys say, i will take it or not.... i asked around but a lot of ppl werent sure if it was a safe area or not....

Please help. i do not want to lose this place if it is a decent area.

I live in the Miracle Mile area Los Angeles right now. Do u guys think it is comparable to Miracle Mile?

Thanks in Advance!

Jenn

PS: i have dogs so is this a pet friendly area?

Should be fine I would say. And Long Beach is a very pet friendly city, that area included. Lots of people walk Bluff Park at all times of the day and I used to work the area at night and really didnt have any problems.

I would suggest taking a look around the area at night though, or asking potential neighbors what they think

Im soooo torn.... the gaviota place is sooo nice inside but i love the belmont shores area......

Belmont shore is quite a bit nicer and if you can afford it I would say go for it even if the place is "outdated." Don't go beyond your means though, 2nd and Gaviota isn't that far from Belmont Shore.

belmont shore and naples especially will be more expensive than downtown. it's hard to find rentals in naples at all and pet requirements makes it harder. Belmont heights is an option. regardless, the way to find rentals is drive around or Gazettes Town-News > Front
