Hello everybody. In a little less than a year I will be graduating with my bacholers in Fashion Marketing. I want to move to LA because it's the fashion capital on the west coast. The problem is I don't know what part of LA to move to. I want to live somewhere close by where I will be working at. Any suggestions on a good place to live?

i looked at the gaylord (i know, i know) on wilshire and loved it. it is in downtown and a lot of the residents are fashion students, actors, musicians, writers,and makeup students etc. you also have a mix of older residents. you are right by the red line and lots of restaurants and bars. the only thing i didnt like about this place was that there is no parking (huge inconvenience for me), so you would have to rent a spot in a nearby parking garage.
it got good ratings here

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say it's in Downtown. The map on the link shows it in Koreatown, near Wilshire/Vermont.

see i consider it downtown because i walked from downtown to that place in 10 minutes. its all downtown to me!
