With the vast volume of apartment rentals on the market, wouldn't you think that the rates would be going down?

What's your experience? Are landlords negotiating?

I have friends that are looking. I've told them to wait until January, because I think the rates will come down over the next few months.

What do you think?

There are a lot of vacancies right now, so that's in renters' favor. What the market will be like in a few months, though, is anyone's guess. It's a gamble, just like anything else.
