Sorry to bother again. The guy who I was going to rent an apartment from on Los Feliz Blvd flaked out on me, so I'm back to square one again. I have two apartments I'm considering. Any information on either of these street addresses as far as safety, or anything else? Thanks so much!

1752 N Alexandria Ave
3949 Los Feliz Blvd

The Alexandria location is getting into east Hollywood, although I'm not sure what most people use as the boundary between Los Feliz/east Hollywood. I like that location, although that direction is less posh than the addresses to the east of Vermont. There's a ton of restaurants along Hollywood Blvd., and in addition to being easy walking distance to everything along Vermont you'd also be close to the stuff in the areas called Little Armenia and Thai Town. Great food options all around.

The Los Feliz Blvd address is a longer walk from much stuff, and the street is busier, but it's a safer neighborhood. I wouldn't say there was so much of a safety difference that I'd make that a deal-breaker, and I'd feel perfectly safe living in either location. The Alexandria location feels more urban, while the Los Feliz Blvd is a bit more suburban in feel.

Personally I'd go with the Alexandria location (based on pure location) just because of the convenience factor, but then again, I walk and take the bus and don't drive. If you think you'll be driving everywhere and want faster access to the 5 the Los Feliz location would be better.
