Hello,

Where within 2 hrs drive of dodger stadium can I rent a 2bd 1 ba for $1k or under and have 1 large dog? I have a job already and telecommute but need to pay cheap rent to continue saving.

Obviously I do not want to live in the very scary parts though, I know my rent price and dog leave out much of the area. Im looking for a nook somewhere in this very large metropolis. I used to live in Ventura county and the valley but they seem too expensive. I may be willing to go to the IE say maybe Redlands but wonder what other ideas you may come up with.

Redlands isn't a bad idea at all. You can get a 2 bedroom well within your price range.

Redlands to DTLA/Dodger Stadium will take you anywhere between 60 minutes and 3 hours depending on the time of day, but done right, its not a bad drive.

I went to college in Redlands. I know people still there with large build dogs in apartments. I'd be happy to recommend some apartment complexes.

You might be fortunate enough to stumble across something in Fontana or Corona. You'll have to hit it at just the right time. For that price and within the 2 hour travel restrictions and dog, it'll be a challenge.

I would prefer Redlands over Fontana, but thats just because i've lived in Redlands before.

$1K for a two bedroom is hard. You might look out in Santa Clarita/Palmdale. If you aren't afraid of the lower class areas, you might try Panorama City, San Fernando, Tujunga and Sunland.
