Will it be unsafe to drive up La Brea from Manchester to Pico during the afternoon?

You worded your questions incorrectly. First you say is it "safe" then you say "is it unsafe".

To answer your question(s), of course its safe to drive.

Who have you been talking to? I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything but I'm wondering who in the world is making you question being in a car.

Yes, you will 100% safe. Even if you tilt open you sunroof.

You should have no problem!

Just asking~
