I know the helicopter noise is bad over Hollywood, and I'm pretty sure it can be bad over Silver Lake/Echo Park, but what about Northeast L.A.? (Mount Washington, Cypress Park, Glassell Park, Eagle Rock, Highland Park)

There are plenty of helicopters over Alhambra and South Pasadena, I can tell you that much, if it helps.

I haven't lived in those specific NE LA neighborhoods, but having spent time in those areas (and having lived not too far from Highland Park, in South Pasadena) my impression is that there are still helicopters, but not nearly as many as in Hollywood, at least not if you look at NE LA as a whole. Not sure how specific sections of neighborhoods stack up.
