Yup, went to the new trader joes olympic and barrington and stopped by the Easylife store with my wife. We couldn't believe the prices for what you get (nothing like this in the westside). We ended up buying more than we needed but am happy with our purchase. A new bedroom set and desk for our daughter and a simple leather sofa for the guest room for $399.

The posters that recommended you checking out Craigslist, yardsale papers, and posting in shops and stores are right on. I just left LA in June and I sold stuff for almost nothing because I had to get rid of it.

That's what's happening now. People are getting out of LA for one reason or another and quite a few are having to leave nice furniture and nice stuff behind. You will probably be able to furnish you place for a steal if you have a way to pick up the stuff. Seriously!

Check out yourfurniturenow.com online or at their showroom in Downey. They have great furniture at very low prices. They also have delivery in LA for very cheap and it includes complete assembly. Totally check them out.
