We're purchasing a single famliy house now and will have our condo for lease once we move to our new home. We have 2 cars currently with Mercury and we're happy with their service.
However, since we'll need insurance for both our cars, one rental property to shield from potential lawsuit and damage/repair in the building, and a homeowner insurance, I shopped around today and was scared by what I heard.
Basically, the agent told me that since we're going to have 2 properties, there's lot more to lose if anything goes wrong. He recommend "Umbrella" coverage, or higher coverage, and I'm not sure about that. Does anyone have any suggestion or any recommendation for insurance company? Thanks a lot.
