Hi ALL,

My first time on this great forum to post.

Anyone has experienced or know which org. ( where ) I am able to donate a used but working piano around > 200Lbs.

I am not looking for a tax exempt, I just want someone to come pick it up from my house professionally.

Thanks for all your advises and greatly appreciated!!

Best,
Jay

If the above doesn't work, put it on craigslist in the free section.

You could also call a local university to see if they have a need for a piano. Their practice instruments get beat to heck so they may be eager to update their stock.

WHen I moved from NYC I donated mine to Julliard Music school in NYC....See what music schools are in LA I am sure even a H.S. or University with a music department will appreciate it.

I also have a piano free to anyone who can come get it. No one plays and it is taking up space. It needs tuning and one key needs padding. Email me at myscwilson@gmail.com
