Did anyone notice? Google street view finally changed and updated all the srteet view images in LA in high quality! Now LA dosen't look like crap anymore when people street view it, this is good now everyone can see LA nice and clear on google street view(well most of the non-ghetto areas so to speak). Anyway share your thoughts on this matter and go see your self the changes and the better quality. New York is also in high quality now as well, and toronto and canada have been added to the street view universe.

Here I'll show you here:

here's a street view of downtown LA at LA Live

Not only is it HD, but it looks like the photos were taken during the springtime! The city really looks beautiful on here with the jacarandas blooming and the trees bright green.

I know, right? The LA street view pictures were definitely some of the worst I'd seen.

Not to stray off topic, but does Google actually have a bunch of photographers that take pictures of every section of street in the world? lol! I just don't get the tech side of it. I know about satellite but how could you get street and side views from a satellite? I use Google maps and Google earth all the time and it just boggles me how it all works.

They have cameras mounted on cars.

Here's a fabulous shot on Santa Monica Pier:

Google Maps

Bing is even better for aerial shots but it doesn't cover everything. Make sure it is in "Birds Eye View"

HD cool. Yeah...anyway...

...Next to the maps there was a user-created link to the "L.A. Mafia Murders." And I was like OMG what is this crime spree all about. I immediately thought of the Mexican Mafia and got all scared.

Then I clicked on the names and they were like "Frank Rizo" and "Dave Birillo." Then I was like OMG white people are getting slaughtered! Then I looked at the dates of death: 1926...1930...

Give me a break, it's early. :/
