$450 might get you a shared room with 3 other roomates in a 2br apartment.

This is West Hollywood, right?

Make that 3 gay roommates.

Not that there's anything wrong with being gay....

Ha not gay but thanks. So you think that finding a share for $450 a month is reasonable?

$450 wouldn't get you much even in a multi-roommate situation. However, as a previous poster pointed out, since it is West Hollywood, you could pay even less per month if you are a really good-looking male. The other (gay) roommates may be willing to let you rent a discount in exchange for having a "hot" straight guy around the house.

Seriously, West Hollywood area it is one of many very gay areas in Los Angeles. They are looking for dependable people who can pay the rent, and are not necessarily interested in you sexually as they have there own sex lives. If you can get past living with a gay person, you could find some living possibilities there and gay people can become your fiercely loyal friends for life, but definitely multi-roommate as $450 won't cover even 1/3 of the rent.

If all else fails, just flash your guns (biceps), wear clothes that show how buff you are, and be really nice and even have a kind of lost in LA persona, and someone may take your $450 a month against there better judgment because you are too cute to been thrown out to the wolves in LA.
